TICKET OFFICE
1.How much does a ticket to the Cattolica Aquarium cost?
To find out the rates, click HERE
Entrance is always free for children under one metre tall and for disabled people who are not self-sufficient (Law 104)

2. What does the ticket include?
The entrance ticket includes a visit to the trails ( Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple ) and the Dinosaur World (this remains closed from October until reopening in spring).
Does not include: food, shopping, parking.

3. Are there activities that require reservations?
Extraordinary Meetings are active during high season. For more information, click HERE.

4. How long does the visit last?
The visit lasts between 2 and 4 hours.

5. Can I leave and return on the same day with the same ticket?
Yes, you can leave and re-enter: ask the staff on duty for assistance, so you don't have to pay the entrance fee again.

6. How long is the Cattolica Aquarium ticket valid for?
The Cattolica Aquarium ticket is valid for one day and is non-refundable once validated (art. 74 DPR 633/72).
It must be kept for the entire visit and shown in case of tax inspection.
The unvalidated ticket, however, is valid for all opening days on the calendar.

7. Can I pay by credit card or debit card?
Yes, the ticket office, souvenir shops, and refreshment points accept payments by debit card or credit card.

8. What do I need to do to return to the park on a second day of my choosing?
For just €5.00, you can return to the park on a second day of your choice during the season, upon purchasing an entrance ticket.
The ticket is personal, so when you return for the visit you will have to show the ticket along with an identity document.
It must be purchased at the ticket office by 4.30pm in low season or 5.30pm in high season.

10.Do the routes have the same opening hours as the ticket office?
Blue Route: opens at the same time as the ticket office, closes 30 minutes after the ticket office closes.
Yellow, Green, Purple Route: open 30 minutes after the ticket office opens and close 1 hour after the ticket office closes.

11. Can you visit the Aquarium when it rains?
Yes, the four routes (Blue, Green, Yellow, and Purple) are indoors. The only outdoor travel is when transferring from one route to another. In case of inclement weather, the Aquarium is very busy and queues may form outside.

ANIMALS
13.Are there dolphins?
The Aquarium does NOT house dolphins or cetaceans.
 
14. Can dogs and other animals be brought into the Park?
Yes, only dogs and small animals are allowed, and only if held in your arms, in a carrier, or in a bag.
Guide dogs for the blind are an exception.

15. Can you touch the animals in the Aquarium?
No, the only contact allowed with the Aquarium animals is with the stingrays in the touch tank.

16.Can you swim with sharks?
No, it is not possible to dive into the shark tank ( they wouldn't like it, and…neither will you).

17. Is it possible to photograph or film the animals?
Yes, you can take photos and videos, but for animal protection, the use of flash is prohibited.

18.Are there animals on the Purple Trail?
No, the Viola trail hosts educational and informative exhibitions and does not contain live animals.

SERVICES
19. Where are the toilets located? Are there disabled toilets ?
The three-way services accessible from the outside are located in the Viola pavilion (ground floor).
There are separate toilet facilities for men, women and disabled people inside each Blue, Green and Purple pavilion.

20.Do you have a lost property office?
Yes, for lost or found items, please contact the park information office or call us at 0541 8371.

21.Do you have luggage storage?
We have 16 lockers available for storing backpacks or small luggage.
The service has a security deposit of €5.00.

22. Can tobacco and refills be purchased inside the park?
No, the Aquarium does not have tobacco shops, cell phone top-ups, or newspapers.

23. Can we use the outdoor green areas?
Yes, the 49,000 m2 outdoor green area can be used like a public park.

REFRESHMENT POINTS
24.Are there refreshment points?
Yes, at the end of the Blue Trail, the #Colonia34 snack bar. It offers coffee, drinks, first courses, piadinas, toasted sandwiches, and packaged ice cream.
Outside the park: Pesce Azzurro restaurant. Offers: self-service with a fixed menu of locally sourced fish. Restaurant info: 0541 831919.

25. Can I bring a packed lunch?
Yes, in the outdoor green area there are two gazebos and several tables at your disposal.

26.Are products available for celiacs?
No, gluten-free foods are not available at the #Colonia34 snack bar.

PARKING
27.Is there parking for cars and campers?
Yes, there are car and camper parking areas adjacent to the park, managed externally by the "La Brianza" Cooperative.

FAMILY VISIT WITH CHILDREN
28. Can I visit the Aquarium with a stroller?
Yes, but please note that there are flights of stairs on the Blue and Purple routes: we recommend that parents use backpacks or baby carriers.
Strollers can be left at the entrance to the Blue and Purple routes (unattended storage).

29.Are there changing tables?
Yes, in the toilet anterooms there are changing tables, accessible to both mum and dad,

30.Can baby food and bottles be heated?
No, HACCP regulations do not allow us to handle food brought in from outside.

DISABLED PEOPLE
31. Are the routes accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes, the Aquarium guarantees a full visit to the 3 live animal trails ( Blue, Yellow, and Green) for people with disabilities.
The Blue route is accessible despite the presence of stairs: one of our staff will be available to accompany you through an alternative access. The Yellow and Green routes are accessible independently for wheelchair users.

Access to the educational exhibition on the Viola route (average visit time 15 minutes) is not wheelchair accessible due to architectural barriers (flights of stairs).

32. Discounted rates are available for guests with disabilities, invalidity and law 104
Children with Law 104
- free admission for the child; reduced admission (€19) for an accompanying adult

Guests with 100% disability:
· Admission is free upon presentation of suitable certification (see below for which ones are accepted).
· The accompanying person is always entitled to a reduced ticket.
· Any other members of the group purchase tickets at the regular rate.
If you wish to enter the park multiple times, you can request a season ticket for €5.00, which can be purchased exclusively at the ticket offices upon presentation of the required certification. Alternatively, you can request a free ticket for each entry, again upon presentation of the required certification.

Guests with a disability of 75% to 99%:
· A discounted ticket is available, which can be purchased at the park ticket office upon presentation of a certificate (see below which is accepted)
· The accompanying person is not entitled to any reduction.

Season passes for companions:
· There are no discounts on season tickets for accompanying persons.

Accepted Certifications:
You must present one of the following valid documents to receive free admission:
· INPS/ASL certification (indicating the percentage of disability).
· Disability Card: entitles you to reduced-price admission. If the card bears an "A," admission is free; otherwise, the reduced rate applies.
· The European Disabled Parking Permit (the blue card) is not accepted.

33. Are there discounted tickets available?
Yes, by purchasing your ticket online at least the day before your visit, you will receive discounted rates.
